Surface Piercing Appointment [Consultation Recommended]

We use implant-grade titanium flat surface bars for surface piercings. Tops (accents) start from $19+ per piece. This service includes consultation and jewellery selection time.

Surface piercings are considered "long-term temporary" piercings. This means that even when done 100% perfectly, cared for 100% perfectly, the smallest disturbance can compromise these piercings. Similarly, when traumatised surface piercings are much more challenging to get to settle back down than most, often leading to removal. A good lifespan for these is 1-3 years.

We suggest placements with minimal movement and risk, such as cheeks, foreheads, chest. We don't pierce fingers, hands, or wrists.

Surface piercing healing time 9+ months.
Recommended follow-up timeframe 4-12 weeks.

Please note all piercings are anatomically dependant. Anatomy will be assessed prior to piercing. If the anatomy is not deemed suitable or appropriate, we will work with you to find a happy alternative. Additionally, as mentioned above these can be tricky piercings to heal and are much less permanent than other piercings.
